Right, where to start? Lots of important information in this one. The different types of methodologies part is a bit dry, but understandable necessary. The ESA method is powerful in terms of results delivery, yet flexible enough to avoid class anticipation and boredom. I like how parts can be combined – straight arrow to boomerang to patchwork. What I really loved though, are the practical examples for each of the ESA stages. That's gold. Thanks. This unit covers different ESA teaching methods in teaching a new language, such as the straight arrow method, and the boomerang and patchwork methods, which all have, however, been described in more detail in Unit 3. This unit covers methods of teaching vocabulary, grammatical structures and language structures, as well as language functions, which were all very well explained by incorporating them with examples in the different ESA teaching methods.
