The unit deals with the expressing future. 1.Future simple form: subject + will + inf; q: Will + subject + inf? ; negation: I will not (won't) + inf. Note: for 1st person singular and plural shall can be used. It is used to express prediction based on no present evidence, spontaneous decisions, future facts, promises, speculations and threats. The form shall is used for more formal suggestions and invitations mostly (UK). 2.Future continuous form: subject + will + be + inf + ing; q: will + subject + be + inf + ing? n: subject + will + not + be + inf + ing. It is used to denote an action that will be in progress at a certain point in the future, to predict the present, to politely inquire other people's plans without influencing. 3.Present Simple form: subject + inf (3rd person singular adds (e)s), q:do/does + subject + inf; n: subject + do/does not + inf. Beside being used to denote the present, it can also denote future events, such as timetables and schedules. 4.Present Continuous form: subject + am/are/is + inf + ing; q: am/are/is + subject + inf+ing? ; n: subject + am/are/is + not + inf+ing. Used to denote definite future arrangements and decisions without a time frame. 5.Going to form: subject + BE (present simple) + going to + inf; q: am/are/is + subject + going to + inf?

It is used to express intentions, predictions based on present evidence and for plans/decisions made before speaking. 6.Future Perfect form: subject + will + have + past participle; q: will + subject + have + p.p.? n: subject + will + not + have + p.p. It is used to express completion of an action by a certain point in the future. 7.Future Perfect Continuous form: subject + will + have + been + inf+ing; q: will + subject + have + been + inf+ing? ; n: subject + will + not + have + been + inf+ing. It is used to express the duration of an action , how long something will have continued for by a certain point in future. The unit is a clear and concise reminder of all the ways for expressing future.
