This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
The unit is about productive skills which are speaking and writing. They are both of the same importance.  speaking requires fluency whereas writing requires accuracy. They are both used for communication. People communicate because of a need or a desire therefore the teacher must create them in the activities in order to have a successful productive skill lesson. Accuracy and fluency are two elements present in the productive skill lesson. Accuracy is concerned with forming correct language so it must be present in the study phase. Fluency is concerned with the flow of language without interruption so we see it in the activate phase. They are both of equal importance. There are three speaking activities in the classroom; controlled activities, guided activities, creative communication. The teacher must create a friendly atmosphere so that students are encouraged to communicate with each others and the teacher. For a successful free speaking activity before the lesson  the teacher must decide on his aims, predict the students' answers and behaviour towards the activity, tailor the activity to the available time and prepare the necessary materials as well as his instructions. During the activity the teacher must arise the students' interest, remind them of useful structures
or vocabulary, give clear demonstration of the activity and check understanding, give them time to prepare and rehearse if needed, monitor without interruption, feedback and evaluate after the activity. Although written text differs in many ways from speaking they both share a lot of considerations that need to be incorporated in their lessons. Handwriting, spelling and punctuation are some of the writing skills that aren't present in speaking and the teacher must encourage students to improve them constantly. The rules that apply to creative writing activities are like those of creative speaking activities regarding the need and desire and also pair or group work. Games are used for educational purpose in the classroom. Being popular with all ages they must be incorporated in the lesson. They provide useful controlled practice and free practice material and can be adapted for English language uses. From this unit I have learnt about productive skills and how to conduct a successful productive skill lesson as well as how to incorporate games as an element of fun and learning ", While the previous unit covered the receptive skills (listening and reading) - this unit covers the production skills (writing and speaking). Fluency and accuracy are discussed. Fluency activities
allow students to typically control the output and make mistakes without immediate correction. Creative communication activities are a good example of this. Accuracy activities are controlled more by the teacher and are often designed to help students correct mistakes. Writing fluency and accuracy activities will follow the same ideas., In the sixteenth unit we learn about teaching productive skills (speaking and writing).
