There are different challenges in teaching various categories stated in the material. As for me, the biggest challenge I had is dealing with young learners. They are active and straight forward, if the lesson content doesn't interest them, they will make noise or start talking to each other. Learners at younger age need a lot of visual aids to attract them and make them motivated in learning. Therefore, a lot of preparation must be done before heading for lesson.the unit was talking about different types of materials that the teacher can use in the class such as authentic and non authentic materials and the advantages and disadvantages for authentic material.then they talked about how to design non authentic materials. after that they talked about the lesson plan and why it is important for the teacher to make a lesson plan.finally they talked about the differnt types of resources and using the internet in the classroom.
