Koh Kong City is the provincial capital of Koh Kong province in south-west Cambodia. The town sits on the east side of the Kaoh Pao River and is just 10 kilometres from the international border crossing with Thailand at Cham Yeam.

There is plenty to do in the area around Koh Kong City. Motorbikes and bicycles can be hired in the town and are a great way to get about and explore. The Cardamom Mountains are home to some pristine jungle and a number of waterfalls to cool down in after a day spent trekking. Hiking and mountain biking, snorkelling and kayaking are all popular activities that can be done as is exploring the largest mangrove forest in Asia which can be reached by boat from Koh Kong City. Nearby Koh Kong Island is Cambodia’s largest island and has some of the best beaches in Southeast Asia.
