Speaking and writing are very important for language acquire. For effective teaching of productive skills we need to create what an effective communication includes, such as a communicative purpose, desire to say something and to listen to something, and interest in what is being said because if these factors are not included the activity won't be a success. We have to consider differences between accuracy and fluency activities to handle them correctly and effectively during the lesson. Accuracy activities are part of a study fase and the correct reproduction of language should be controlled. On the other hand, fluency activities are more about effectiveness and flow of the communication not about perfect grammatical or phonological language production. I have learned from this lesson that speaking activities ardivided into controlled (drilling 3x3 and prompting - preplanned question and answer), guided - more creative the exact language is not controlled by teacher, creative communication (role-play) - only scenario is created by teacher. Also, we have to encourage students to speak by organizing such activities as pair-work, group-work, careful planning, letting students to think before the activity. Planning is important for speaking and writing activities. Do not neglect
writing activities, try to incorporate them in every lesson, do not leave them only for homework. Decide on your aims, anticipate possible flow, time management, instructions. During the activity, arouse interest, remind vocabulary, explain aims of the activities, give time to prepare, make it more a process then a product, monitor and evaluate. Give feedback being optimistic and concentrating more on what the students were able to do. Correct errors wisely, analyze them and address in class or individually depending on situation. For example, if the error was amde by many students then address it in class.
