Our 120-hour TEFL certificate course is consistently one of our most popular online courses as it includes a comprehensive set of high quality materials and results in an online TEFL certificate that is internationally recognized and welcomed by employers worldwide. Once you have completed your course enrolment you will receive an email containing all the details required to gain access to our online training course system. From your personal section of the system you will be able to begin your studies by either viewing the course materials directly online or by downloading them to your own computer.
After you have worked through the materials for the first unit, your understanding of the topics included will be assessed before you move forward and begin studying the next unit. When all units have been completed you will need to complete a final summative task. Upon completion of the whole course you will graduate and receive your 120-hour online TEFL certificate.
With our tutored option you will receive ongoing support and assistance from our experienced online tutors throughout the length of the course. At any time during your studies you will be able to contact an experienced online tutor with any questions or problems you may have. The tutor will then respond to your queries via email within one working day.
Our 120-hour course is designed to provide a complete introduction to the world of Teaching English as a Foreign Language. By completing this course you should gain a good working knowledge of the English grammar system, as well as learn many different skills and techniques that will help you to plan and deliver effective lessons in the classroom.
The 120-hour TEFL certificate course contains a variety of subjects that can be roughly divided into two categories. Approximately half of the course materials focus on subjects related to teaching skills that are required in the classroom, including teaching theories and methodologies, classroom management, lesson planning and how to test and evaluate the progress of your students. The remaining half of the course materials focus on subjects related to language awareness, including grammar issues such as the parts of speech and the English tense system, as well as other important subjects including pronunciation.
In order to make the course as user friendly as possible, we have separated all this important information into twenty individual units that are designed to gradually increase your understanding, without overwhelming you with too much information at once. Due to this design, you should find that you are able to work your way through the course materials at a comfortable pace that suits your own circumstances.
The course structure is designed to provide our students with the greatest amount of flexibility possible. You will have up to six months to complete all the course components, and within this time frame you are free to work at whatever pace you like.
